Chemical Peels or skin resurfacing is an effective facial for treating a variety of complaints. Bare Beauty uses Mediderma products, a world renowned medical skin care brand.
Each treatment is tailored to our client after they have had a free skin consultation. We have skin treatments to help with acne, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and scarring. The number of treatments required will vary on an individual basis. We normally recommend between 3-6 sessions.
What are Chemical Peels?
Acid peels are designed to exfoliate your skin. The depth of the treatment is determined by how many layers of skin we want to affect.
The different types of treatments available at Bare Beauty are:
Superficial – affects the stratum corneum (surface of the skin) and the top layers epidermis.
Medium – affects all layers of the epidermis and partial destruction of the papillary dermis.
Deep –affects the epidermis and the dermis.
